“After going to a wedding where Jannah was the photographer we decided to hire her for our own! We really appreciated the way she blended into the wedding and we barely noticed her but she was always able to catch the best moments! I also loved how easy it was to have her around in the morning while we were all getting ready, she just joined in so well. Not to mention the pictures came out amazing! Such a kind and easy person to get along with! Would recommend to anyone!!!”

“It’s like Hannah with a J”

Here’s a pic of me & my husband, Pete!
Though I now call Cardiff home, my Northern Irish roots run deep. Originally from Belfast, I moved to Wales to study music – mainly flute performance and composition at university – and I’ve stayed ever since.
Photography has always been a part of me. My journey began with a little pink digital camera, and by 15, I had upgraded to my first DSLR. What started as a hobby soon grew into capturing events and gigs, and in 2020, I shot my first wedding. Over the years, I’ve been shaped and inspired by the amazing wedding photography community – “Community over competition” truly resonates with me, and I’m so grateful for the supportive corner of the industry I’m part of.
My passion is deep for photography, yet still, music remains a core part of who I am. Musical theatre, classical, jazz, pop and country, I love it all. I’ve even written a few of my own contemporary classical pieces and always feel excited when I connect with others who share this passion.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me brewing the perfect cup of coffee, spending time with my wonderful church community, cooking something delicious with my husband Pete to host friends, or taking a long run in nature with a Harry Potter audiobook in my ear. I’m also an avid traveller and love exploring new places and tasting new foods. Pete and I spent our honeymoon in Vietnam, I studied in the USA for a semester, and I’ve had the privilege of performing with orchestras and choirs across Europe, Asia, and beyond. This year, I captured my first destination wedding in Italy, a dream come true.
I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful people I’ve met along this journey. It’s a true honour to capture the moments that matter most and tell the unique stories of every couple, family, person or company I work with.
My Approach to weddings…
My photography is all about blending candid, authentic moments with carefully curated portraits. I believe in capturing the true essence of your day – each laugh, every glance, and the love that flows between you. Whether it’s the soft glow of sunlight, the warmth of candlelight, or the sparkle of a perfectly timed send-off, I use light to tell your story, adding depth and emotion to every image.
Every wedding is a story waiting to be told. While I’m there to document the flow of your day as it unfolds, I also guide you through portraits with gentle prompts and playful ideas, helping you feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera. My goal is for your photographs to reflect who you are – genuine, beautiful, and real.
Before the big day, we’ll connect to ensure we’re aligned on your vision and the key moments you want to capture. If you’re up for it, a couples session is a perfect way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. On the day itself, I’ll blend in seamlessly with your guests, capturing candid moments while ensuring we get those key shots – family portraits, your first kiss, the confetti throws – everything that makes your day unforgettable.
At the heart of it all, my aim is for your final gallery to be a beautiful, cohesive collection that tells the full story of your wedding day. It’s not about perfection, but about authenticity – capturing everything that makes your day uniquely yours.
